It’s cool to collect stamps, right?

This is how I feel about snail mail:

But unlike that cartoon, I’ve always been excited about snail mail. Thanks to my cousin Sharon sending me things and thanks to my Mom’s stamp collection.

I joined Postcrossing because I want future generations to appreciate the art of snail mail. The whole idea is to “send a postcard and recieve a postcard back from a random person in the world!”  I’m hoping to use the postcards as an incentive for my students to practice writing in English.

This is the first batch of postcards that I wrote and sent. Hopefully, they’ll get to their destination soon and then I’ll get some postcards in return (but more importantly stamps)!
